The internal Game
That if they just achieve enough, attain enough, become impressive enough, then they’ll arrive.
And for a moment, they do.
When the relationship lands.
When the number hits their bank account.
When the recognition finally comes.
There’s a rush. A settling. A sense of this is it, I'm finally me.
But it never lasts.
Because nothing external can permanently hold an internal state.
Most people are playing what I call The External Game
They’ve been taught that being their true self, requires acquiring things outside of themselves.
So, the game continues.
New goals. New milestones. New versions of “once I get there.”
Until something begins to crack.
Because the things you thought would complete you never do.
Leading to the moment most people misunderstand:
Those achievements are activators. They spark & give permission to dormant parts of yourself to come online. They are not there to permanently hold that version of you.
They are there to show you that who you dreamt of becoming, was already inside of you, waiting for permission to surface.
You didn’t feel worthy because of the achievement.
The achievement activated worth that already lived inside you.
You didn’t feel powerful because of the outcome.
The outcome temporarily unlocked power that was already there.
Nothing can activate what doesn’t already exist.
Which means the entire premise of The External Game collapses under one simple truth:
You already are everything you’re trying to become.
And that’s where The Internal Game begins.
When you realize that what you're truly chasing isn’t the outside achievements, it’s the YOU that you temporarily become in the presence of those achievements.
But that you is already here, now. Waiting. Believing a lie that postpones you from achieving what you truly want.
You have the power to become the person you’ve always dreamt of being, without a single external permission slip.
Because when life honors you with this knowing, a truth is revealed to you:
Everything you’ve dreamt of and far more arrives when you move through the world as your full self. The order of operations has just been misunderstood.
You first become your own permission slip, and then everything you’ve dreamt of attaining arrives effortlessly.
But by that time, it will all seem like a bonus to you, because you have already discovered what all beings are truly looking for:
The source of lasting fulfillment.
